Break of Dawn began on a hot summer's day as a small passion project: mindful mornings, clean eating, and the joy of making things from scratch. Fresh almond milk made in my kitchen grew into cheeses, spreads and seasonal favourites, and a handful of customers grew into a community.
Today it enters its next chapter. And now, we are inviting you to make it your own.

Break of Dawn curates Mumbai's finest vegan range: almond milk, feta, burrata, mayonnaise. Catering can be part of your booking. External vegetarian refreshments can be arranged case-to-case.
No non‑vegetarian food is facilitated or allowed. If that doesn't work for your event, we'd rather tell you now than on the day.
About the room
From a kitchen,

Break of Dawn started eight years ago with almond milk made at home. It grew into plant-based cheeses, spreads and a small community of regulars in Mumbai.
Gather is the room that grew out of it: brick, books, a long table and a kitchen counter on Govandi Station Road. People hire it for birthdays, workshops, pop-ups and shoots, by the hour or the day.

- Capacity
- 35 seated with tables and chairs. Up to 50 standing. We've run a dance floor at that number.
- Hours
- Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm. Saturday, 10am to 10pm, and it can be extended to 11pm. Sunday, 10am to 1pm. Weekday evenings are not available. Music until 10pm. Setup and clean-up fit within your booked hours.
- Food
- Vegan and vegetarian only. No non‑vegetarian food is facilitated or allowed.
- Catering
- Catering can be part of the booking. Food is priced per head from ₹500, minimum 15 guests. Above ₹12,000 of catering the four-hour hire is free; above ₹18,000 the full day is.
- Taxes
- As applicable, on top of the hire charge.
